2025 Catholic Services Appeal

At St. Mary’s Parish, we joyfully join parishes across the Diocese of Austin in supporting our shepherd, Bishop Daniel E. Garcia, through the Catholic Services Appeal (CSA).

This year’s theme, “Together We Bring Hope,” reminds us that when we unite as one Body in Christ, our collective generosity transforms lives. Your gift supports more than 100 ministries and programs throughout the Diocese — touching countless people through evangelization, education, vocations, and outreach to those most in need.
As Scripture encourages us, “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)

Your participation in the CSA is a tangible expression of our parish covenant to grow, serve, connect, and worship together. When we give from the heart, we truly become a beacon of light drawing people home. Please prayerfully consider making your commitment during CSA Weekend, October 25–26

“Why Black Catholic Musicians Should Study Gregorian Chant”

Our very own, Dr. Darrell St. Romain recently published this article in the Black Catholic Messenger. In it he reflects on his experience of developing a greater appreciation for Gregorian Chant this summer and how it can enrich his experience and work as a Black Catholic Musician. We are grateful for Dr. St. Romain’s work here at St. Mary’s and the richness he brings to our community.

Listen to Fr. Will’s Homily from last week about the amazing things happening at St. Mary’s and learn how you can help.
