New Saturday Mass and Confession Times Begin October 3
Beginning Saturday, October 3, 2026, St. Mary’s will have new regular times for Saturday Confessions and the Saturday anticipated Sunday Mass.
New Saturday Schedule
The following regular schedule takes effect Saturday, October 3.
Saturday Confessions
Previously: 4:00 PM
Saturday Anticipated Mass
Previously: 5:30 PM
Sunday Masses
No change
Why Is the Schedule Changing?
Earlier this year, parishioners were invited to complete a survey about the Saturday Mass schedule. Fr. Will reviewed the responses and consulted the Parish Pastoral Council and parish staff. After considering that feedback and the parish’s long-term pastoral needs, he requested and received Bishop Garcia’s permission to make the change.
Community Life
The earlier Mass time will make it easier to hold parish events and community gatherings afterward.
More Daylight
The earlier schedule provides more daylight during winter travel for parishioners who are visually impaired.
Family Accessibility
The new time offers a more accessible Saturday option for younger families.
This Is the Approved Regular Schedule
The parish survey and consultation are complete. Bishop Garcia has approved the change, and the schedule shown above will be St. Mary’s regular schedule beginning October 3.
