St. Mary’s Traditional Turkey Dinner is Back!

It’s back!  We’re back!  So come on over and be part of all the fun and happenings of the Turkey Dinner event! We are serving Turkey Dinner inside our venue or you can take them to go! Truly this is a parish community event, and we are blessed beyond measure to have so many of our parishioners volunteering their time and love.

Plates are $12 and will include juicy delicious turkey, our famous cornbread dressing, green beans, rolls, gravy, cranberry sauce, old-fashioned coleslaw with a peach and dessert. We are so excited that the Altar Society ladies from back in the day are leading us in the kitchen with these recipes made from their hearts.

Our inside venue will include the Country Store with games for the kiddos, the Altar Society will also have their craft and gourmet booths for early Christmas shopping. There will be live entertainment from the Rusty Dusters and our local High School students from Academy will be providing some music for us. We will also be selling our Parish Festival raffle tickets for just $10!

We are looking forward to a great time and hope that you will come and share in this glorious day! This is our first major fundraiser for our church. Download the flyer – Turkey Dinner Flyer [PDF, 1.1 MB].

In it he reflects on his experience of developing a greater appreciation for Gregorian Chant this summer and how it can enrich his experience and work as a Black Catholic Musician. We are grateful for Dr. St. Romain’s work here at St. Mary’s and the richness he brings to our community.
